Karia, Halikarnassos. ca 450-400 BC. AR Persic Hemiobol (8mm, 0.36g). Head of ram right / Male head right within incuse square (no ethnic).
SNG Keckman 866 (Karia uncertain); SNG Kayhan 996 (possibly Halikarnassos); Konuk, Kasolaba 1.
Good F, dark toning, some dirt adhering. Scarce early type with no ethnic and reverse in incuse. Konuk attributes these to a city called Kasolaba, based on a translation of the Karian ethnic present on later types, but this attribution is somewhat questionable.
