Do I need to register on this site in order to buy something?

No, you can add an item to your shopping cart and do a "Guest Checkout."  However, we encourage customers to create an account with us - you will be able to make purchases more easily, and receive special offers and discounts.


Do you offer any discounts for purchases?

Yes.  Registered customers will receive special offers and discounts.  We also have various discounts depending on your payment and amount of purchase:

  • If you pay by check or money order (drawn on on U.S. bank account), we can reduce the price by 5% - use Coupon #1111 at time of checkout.
  • If you buy more than $1,500.00, we can offer a 10% discount -  use Coupon #2222 at time of checkout.
  • If you buy more than $600.00, we can offer free shipping in the United States - use Coupon #3333 at time of checkout.
  • If you want to negotiate a particular price on one or more coins, please contact us.


What payment options do you offer?

We accept checks, money orders and cashier's checks from U.S. banks, major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club), and PayPal.  In some circumstances, we may be able to accept bank wire transfers (such as ACH, IBAN/BIC, Giropay, SEPA, SOFORT, Alipay).  Please contact us to inquire about wire transfer arrangements.


Do you buy coins from customers, or take them on consignment? 

Yes, but you will need to send us the coins for a personal evaluation.  Please contact us to make arrangements.


Can you help me authenticate, identify or estimate the value of my coins?

Yes.  We charge $20 for authentication and $10 for identification of each coin.  For authentication, you will need to send us the coins for evaluation.  We will issue a Certificate of Authenticity for each coin we authenticate as genuine.  For identification, you can just email us a good picture and size/weight of the coin.  Identification will include the description, references and estimated value of the coin.  Please contact us to make arrangements.


Do you provide Certificates of Authenticity?

All our coins/artifacts are guaranteed to be genuine and authentic for life.  If you would like a Certificate of Authenticity for your purchase, please make a special request.  For more info, please review our Certificate of Authenticity page. 


Can I return a coin, if I am unsatisfied or it is fake?
